Exciting news! Spavia is celebrating its 16th anniversary as a day spa franchise that is continuing to grow and make positive differences through self-care and community engagement. What does Spavia stand for? Spavia - “via” in many languages means route or pathway. Spavia is creating a route or pathway to wellness by creatively designing result-driven spa treatments in an environment where guests feel relaxed, recentered, and renewed. The core essences that make Spavia what it is today include giving back to the community, caring for the environment through Spavia Green, continued self-care with our Wellness Membership Program, and result-driven treatments using innovative products.   September is Spavia Cares month Spavia has a commitment to contribute to the social causes in our communities - throughout the year and especially during the month of September. This month, we are doing something special for local charities in our community. Schedule our Perky Pumpkin Fall Facial or our Himalayan Salt Stone massage and most of our locations will be giving back a percentage of proceeds to a local charity from the sales of those two treatments in September. The National Team will match the giving back to make an even greater impact in our communities. Spavia locations, over the years, have also come up with different ways to help out their local community - hosting fundraisers, volunteering, and donating to charities. Below are examples of the amazing work that Spavia plans to do this month to show their love and support through their mission of Spavia Cares: Spavia Park Meadows Owner, Kari Dameron, and her team will be working with the Urban Peak Youth Homeless Shelter & donating gift cards to teachers, nurses, doctors, etc. during the month of September. Spavia Ann Arbor Owners, John and Janet Hunnius, and their team will be working with Ozone House, which supports homeless and high-risk youth with an event that includes chair massages, mini-facials, and raffles. Spavia West Plano Owner, Stephanie Pearson, and her team will be donating to Kidd’s Kids, which takes children with life-altering or life-threatening conditions and their families on an all-expenses paid trip of a lifetime to Walt Disney World. Spavia Old Alabama Square Owner, Lorilynn Monty, and her team will be participating in a Childhood Cancer Walk, donating $500 and an auction item to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta charity golf tournament, and donating $400 and a Relax package to the Alpharetta Public Safety Foundation Red and Blue dinner.
